Chris Jury, Artistic director Of Public Domain, has been awarded a substantial grant by The Peggy Ramsay Foundation to make a research trip to Moscow and Georgia for a play he is writing about Stalin’s private life. “There is no way I would be able to afford this trip without this grant and I can’t really express how grateful I am to the Trust for this act of faith in me as a playwright.” Chris Said. “It has opened the doors to an incredible creative adventure. Peggy Ramsay was one of the best-known play agents in the
United Kingdom during the second half of the Twentieth Century. When she died in 1991 her estate was left for charitable purposes to help writers and writing for the stage.
The Peggy Ramsay Foundation was established in pursuance of this object.
